This rug showcases a menagerie of Indian fauna and flora in an intricate manner. The flowing plants contrast beautifully with the eggshell-colored background, creating an aesthetically pleasing representation. The nobles depicted in the rug wear elaborate Mughal headgear, robes called 'jama,' with a ‘patch’ sash tied around their waist. Their steeds are decorated with patterns, stripes, floral elements, and the classic Indian 'boteh' motif — the seed of life, adding to the overall composition.
